Marimekko Piirto Unikko Rug Natural White

Description

Discover sublime minimalist elegance in the Marimekko Piirto Unikko Rug Natural White, a masterful hand-tufted creation produced in India from 100% high-quality New Zealand wool. This exquisite variation of the iconic Unikko poppy motif is transformed into a delicate, tonal-on-tonal relief sculpture: oversized flowers with their signature rounded petals and circular centres are softly embossed and carved into the plush surface, creating a refined play of light and shadow that reveals the pattern only upon closer inspection or gentle movement across the rug. The undyed, creamy natural white palette exudes pure serenity and timeless sophistication, while the dense, velvety wool pile offers an exceptionally soft, cloud-like underfoot sensation paired with outstanding durability, natural warmth, subtle acoustic comfort, and a luxurious tactile depth that feels both understated and quietly opulent. Perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, dressing areas, or any space that values quiet luxury, Scandinavian restraint, and artistic texture, this sophisticated piece turns the floor into a serene, sculptural canvas of Finnish design heritage. Important Tip We recommend that an anti-slip pad such as Total Grip is used underneath rugs to prevent slippage between the rug and the surface it is placed on.Please note: Allow for a slight variation of colours depending on monitor settings.
