Marimekko Kalasaaski Rug Light Green

Description

Bring fresh, natural serenity and subtle graphic rhythm to your space with the Marimekko Kalasääski Rug Light Green, an exquisite hand-tufted creation crafted in India from 100% high-quality New Zealand wool. The timeless Kalasääski “osprey” pattern, originally designed by Maija Isola, unfolds here as a captivating series of flowing diagonal stripes that create a gentle, almost liquid optical movement across the surface. Each softly raised band is rendered in a soothing light olive-sage green, beautifully contrasted by crisp off-white lines that lend airy definition and luminous elegance. The plush, dense wool pile delivers an exceptionally soft, velvety underfoot experience, paired with remarkable durability, natural warmth, discreet sound absorption, and a refined tactile depth that shifts gracefully with light and perspective. This refined yet quietly uplifting piece is perfect for bedrooms, living areas, sunlit hallways, or any interior seeking a harmonious blend of Scandinavian restraint, organic colour harmony, and luxurious layered comfort that feels both contemporary and deeply connected to nature. Important Tip We recommend that an anti-slip pad such as Total Grip is used underneath rugs to prevent slippage between the rug and the surface it is placed on.Please note: Allow for a slight variation of colours depending on monitor settings.
